About the speaker: Daniel García González (丹倪)
Assistant Professor of Spanish Language and Culture in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at National Taiwan University. He holds a PhD in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid (2016) and has worked as an International Editor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) (2017-2025), a journalist for media outlets such as El País (2013-2017) and La Vanguardia (2016-2018), and a freelance translator from Chinese to Spanish. His research interests include Spanish cinema in East Asia and cultural relations between Spain and Taiwan.
