Re-Thinking and Developments of the Researches on the European Language, Literature and Culture in the Post-pandemic Era
Since the end of 2019, the global havoc and shock caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have rendered remote communication an essential trend in learning, work, and interpersonal communication. The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, especially in digital humanities and generative AI, has accelerated in response to the pandemic. This surge has significantly influenced the progress of humanities and social sciences in the "post-pandemic era." During this era, research in European language, literature, and culture not only encompasses the development and application of AI industries but also necessitates a continual reexamination of the essence of European cultural traditions. Therefore, there is a need for engagement in humanistic reflection and social concern. The objective of this conference is to explore reflections and development strategies for European language, literature, and cultural studies in the post-pandemic era, aiming to initiate discussions in relevant fields from a macro perspective and facilitate academic exchange among domestic scholars and experts.
